Dear Jack,
You are the wonderful British family who became our first friends when we moved to London as your neighbors from Japan in 1988. We love your family and garden.
Even after we returned to Japan, Jack’s gentle, calm smile comes to mind as before.
We remember that we had a wonderful time at your house on Bushey Way in September 1998.
Also we had a lovely lunch at Covent Garden in July 2015.
We were impressed by the portrait he painted of Shona.
Jack,We will never forget you. We are grateful to have met you.
Please rest in peace.Thank you Jack!
With deepest love,
Seiko and Hiro

Jack was my cousin and a very good friend. Jack and I shared the same bedroom for a number of years, trying for us both!!! None the less we were always good pals. He was always a snappy dresser and would spend a lot of time each morning getting his hair right. Was always envious of Jack, he was taller than me, and probably better looking. Will always remember Jack, and had we lived in the same town, would always have seeked out his company. Rest in peace Jack, we will meet again, maybe sooner rather than later being some years older than you!!

Jack was a lovely gentle man with a great sense of humour, he was very interesting to listen to about his travels, i enjoyed having a meal with him & a glass of wine which was so much fun, so sorry you have gone but. i will always remember you.
